My review of Godzilla Minus One, spoilers included. #godzilla #godzillaminusone #godzilladay This review is based on my first viewing when I saw it in Japan on 11/3/23 . It didn't have ENG subtitles but I've been studying Japanese for a few years so I was able to follow along with most of the dialogue.

I love Godzilla and all the monster movies. But I definitely support and am interested in videos like this 😊
Great review, very interesting and unique plot for a film. If I was in that situation I'd definitely want to raise my own son but still wouldn't mind keeping in touch with the other child/family. Happy Father's day to all
4:12 That old guy looks very familiar
This is my opinion but I don't think it matters if the child is biologically yours or not but I do think it does matter of how you raise it and how you show it appreciation for its existence anyone could be a father in anyone could be a mother it's does it takes a lot to actually be a good parent
Please do more of these
Will do!
I was 100% expecting the little info card from the history videos to show up when you pointed out the casting. Honestly, for me, the hardest part of the problem would be: how does the kid handle the switch? Maybe the parents are okay with it, but how will it effect both children, and how will that in turn effect the parents? I truly don't know how to answer. Tell your dad Happy Father's Day. Hyped for Shin Godzilla.
lmao it felt weird not creating the info cards
Thanks bill this movie looks very interesting
Happy Father's Day!
happy father's day!!! :3
It’s a very good movie.
Excellent video Bill -thanks for putting this one on my radar! 👍
These realistic dramas are something i rarely watch but have an interest in, so i really apreciate recommendations like this. I'm all for it if you want to make more videos on stuff that's not kaiju related
Happy Father's Day to everyone celebrating. My dad passed in 2019. But still want to wish all dad's out there a great day.
Awesome film, glad to see it recommended! I call these types of movies dadsploitation films, beyond fitting imo. Super excited for the Shin vid, keep at it king!
Living in a family with 3 adoptions in it, that's not even a question. YOUR kid is the one that you raised, birth has nothing to do with it
The thing that hit me the hardest is when the boat captain said: “we leave you the future”.
Interesting movie.
The millennium Godzilla roar is what very slowly introduced me to this franchise when I was 5.
He's back! The king is back!
Just switch the kids off every other week.
Imagine being a father who loves his child deeply to just be told it isn’t his. Also, happy Father’s Day.
first thing i did when my son was handed to me right outta his mama's ass? my initials in magic marker in both palms...lol this is why DNA tests should be mandatory at birth.
Happy Father's Day =] (yes, I'm working on History of Shin Godzilla for those wondering lol).
Happy father's day! Glory to Jesus Christ!
Happy Father's Day everyone!
Nice Father’s Day video
And then they hit us with the G cells
Best movie ever.
I love Nick Adams, but hearing that story about how he behaved after he got his Oscar nomination was cringy and a little heartbreaking. I'm so embarrassed for him, especially seeing the expression on his face when he hears that Melvyn Douglas won the award.
I have loved this film (which I've always as Godzilla vs Monster Zero) my entire life. The monsters are cool, Nick Adams and the actor who played Ken were hot. The plot was a little confusing, but that's par for the course in Godzilla movies. But the best thing about this movie is that you can watch it on UA-cam for free!
I really was tear jerking and really want to destroy godzilla myself.
In my opinion I do think out of all the Heisei Godzilla suits the BatoGoji suit is probably my favorite
I love the Godzilla 2002 design and Godzilla 2003 design
Alright ill admit it i like Gabara
Why does sparkle look like a cryptid? 😂
Man, I love thinking about Godzilla Minus One. I see a lot of commentary that doesn't buy the US's excuse not to fight Godzilla "because of the Soviets". Well, yeah, because it *is* flimsy, because Godzilla just tore through the Navy on its way to Tokyo so they noped out to see what happens. It's shown on the little montage that shows Godzilla mutating from the Bikini Atoll test. Anyways, post-war animosity towards the Japanese in the US was still pretty high in the 40s. After it tore through the US Navy on its over from Bikini Atoll, it would have been a hard sell to the public or Congress to sacrifice American lives for the Japanese, even if it was a giant, unstoppable nuke launcher.
Noriko might not be mutated, parasites and symbiotes can be introduced into the body. Symbiotic relationships can confer benefits to the host.
I think a couple pages of a then current Gamera script got mixed in with a Godzilla movie script(7:07-7:23).
This has always been my favorite Godzilla movie and probably always will be. Plus I always loved track 46 - Ending.
Ok, this is random as hell, but I just got done watching the Japanese version of Shin Godzilla and I’m now really excited for the Shin video
9:38 The 1984 Roar was a little familiar to me as that was sounded different to the 1954 Godzilla.
I'll be honest, the older I get, I realize I don't hate Zilla's design. It's just not Godzilla.
I said it before and I’ll say it again: Yumiko Shaku is one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen
Just getting more into Godzilla and just found your channel, YOU. ARE. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
Yumiko Shaku is one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen
I wish Godzilla would fuck up my area, I'd gladly pretend to run away for a lunchbox and a t-shirt. And if I can get people to sign it, I'd be happy with just the t-shirt.
Paramedic loves this movie If you know, you know
Fox unit pride!!
i didnt like the post credits. would have been cooler an less cliche if Akane didnt take up the offer
The actress who was the female lead never had a film career after this. She was an odd choice and I always wondered if she was somebody's girlfriend who got cast in the film as her "big chance" which wasn't.
Emmerich is a one trick pony and a one hit wonder with independence day. If he didn't care for the franchise why did he even bother in the first place? Simply a money grab.
What you dont know is that this movie directly ties into the Fallout series TV show
